After several months of quarantine with no opportunity to meet, we are thrilled to be back working together, to creatively re-think our projects for new settings, and for new audiences. Already in May, we were in the recording studio working on a major new series entitled the Trondheim Soloists and I, where young musicians have an opportunity to work on a concerto with Trondheimsolistene. A quartet performed from the orchestra with Samí folk musician Marja Mortensson at the Bergen International Festival live-streamed from Håkonshallen. In June we returned to the recording studio to record new works by Norwegian composer Maja S. K. Ratkje.
As Norway begins to reopen and reshape itself after Covid-19 we are grateful and very happy to have the possibility to perform during the summer months for smaller audiences at the Molde Jazz Festival, at Fjord Cadenza Festival and Frøya in the islands outside of Trondheim. We will also perform a series of live-streamed concerts for Olavsfestdagene before returning to a full audience setting in the autumn in Trondheim.
Join us and we will move forward together.
