Welcome to a series of concerts, on tour in our region, where we will present the repertoire we have been working on during the past year.
During the height of the pandemic in 2020, the Trondheim Soloists embarked on an ambitious recording programme, making an almost unprecedented 6 recordings in 14 months. So it gives us great pleasure to finally have an opportunity to start sharing this repertoire with you now on tour. This tour includes works by Sallinen and Byström from our Nordic Collection recording, “In Shadow’s Dream”. The first half will also include a new work by composer Tyler Futrell which was commissioned by the Trondheim Soloists in collaboration with Music Norway during the lockdown. The final work on the programme is Mozart’s Piano Concerto No 13, with our close friend and collaborator, Håvard Gimse.
